THE ASHE HOTEL TRALEE

We are delighted to share that all well behaved dogs are welcome to stay at The Ashe Hotel. It’s important to us that your dog experiences the same hospitality that you do during your stay. With that, on arrival to your room your dog will be greeted to a complimentary ‘doggie bag’, it includes a treat, water and clean up bags.

When making your own hotel reservation we ask that you inform us that your dog will be travelling with you and if you require a dog bed, bowl or towel. Cost per night is €20 per dog.

Our reception staff will direct you to the nearest park for some dog relief, Tralee Town Park is a short five minute walk from the hotel. We are ideally located close to many beaches including Fenit, Banna and Derrymore all ideal for a dog walk.

During your stay we do ask that you adhere to the following rules;

We have a maximum of one dog per room  and the largest size of dog we allow is a standard Labrador.

Dogs must be kept close and on a lead at all times.

Only access to the outside Garden Terrace for dining, dogs are not allowed to enter the bar or restaurant area with the exception of service dogs. Our little brother Roundy’s Bar (located across from The Ashe Hotel is dog friendly and has water bowls and treats for your dog to enjoy while you have a drink)

Dogs are not to be left alone in their room and are not allowed on the bedroom furniture.

Guests are liable for any damage caused by their dog.

We reserve the right to ask any dog to be removed from the hotel at any time.

Run by Kathryn Scroope, a registered Veterinary Nurse, Salty Dogs Kerry provides dog walking, dog sitting and wedding chaperone services, perfect if you’d like to explore Kerry or enjoy a meal while your dog is looked after.

Whether you need a dog walker or someone to mind your dog for a few hours, guests can contact Kathryn directly to arrange a service during their stay.
